In the DJ world, many people are known as “Bedroom DJ’s” or as some may say, a musical hobbyist. This category of DJ’s mostly spin at home and only for close friends and family but have never used their DJ equipment in front of the general public. 

While I proudly identify as a bedroom DJ, I actually have experience performing in public settings around complete strangers. I believe that puts me in the gray area between a bedroom DJ and a professional DJ that earns significant income from DJing. That’s why I have labeled myself – a professional amateur DJ.  

I quickly realized it takes experience to conquer the nerves and anxiety that comes with playing music for and around others. I kept my DJ hobby a secret for years and now I have a website and advertisements. Honestly, I’m jumping out of my comfort zone and into the deep end of the pool because we all have to start somewhere. I’m ready!  

So far, I’ve been the maestro behind the beats from pool parties and birthdays to impromptu tailgates and football watch parties. I can transform your house into a sports bar! I don’t feel that any event is too small because every opportunity to mix in public gives me a chance to become better at my craft. As a DJ on the rise, I’m grateful and appreciative just being considered to DJ your event. I return the favor by charging fair, affordable and reasonable rates. I know I’m not the best DJ in the world yet, so I charge accordingly – even if it’s on short notice.
